P.S.A. It occurred to me today that the fallout from the Brexit vote means at least one thing for American coffee lovers:

A great GPB to USD exchange rate makes Londinium machines more affordable right now. If I had the money, I'd pull the trigger right now, with the cost of an L1 around $2,250 by my calculations.

Yep, but add £40 for 120V plug. Not sure about shipping, but attractive price in any event.

Not gonna lie, I've run the numbers a couple times this week... The trigger remains unpulled.

Funny, was just reading an article on this topic, China shoppers also noticed the "sale".

Has anyone calculated the true cost to get one to the US?

The rate on the site seems about $100 off. I see the VAT is about $400. What about other fees, taxes, tarrifs? I emailed the company last week but have not heard back. The exchange rate looks great. Thanks

VAT only applied for those people live in EU. You need to pay import taxes only( my guess )
