Firstly I should say that I'm a new member to the forum. I've owned the machine which I am now refurbishing for a long time but have only now been able to find the time to give it the love and attention it deserves. It has not been in use for many years, it was originally purchased by a department of Oxford University for use in their common room but was replaced because it didn't cope well with sudden influxes of thirsty academics and technicians. Its really in better shape than it looks and is complete as supplied. The intention is a complete strip down some improvements and hopefully restore to its original glory. Clearly there's a lot of expertise on this forum so I will appreciate any advice and comments anybody cares to make. I thought it might be interesting to keep an ongoing diary of the refurbishment so I've started a Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/Delsspresso?ref=stream. If anybody is interested enough there are a lot more pictures posted there, although its early days yet.

The thirsty academics missed the boat on that one - Lovely machine.
