Hey folks, well parts have arrived and this thread is going to kick off again....

Here are some pics of the parts from Doug and Barb. I was waiting for one of the piston shafts to arrive which is what caused such a delay. Not Doug and Barbs fault - they were on backorder from Asaco.

Pls stay tuned - Im keen to get this machine and my Faema E61 done in the next couple of weeks.

hmmm just a question guys - are the hard group gaskets (the thicker white fibre ones, not the paper separators) supposed to seal against the piston? Or is it just the rubber v seal?

Hi guys,
well, once again, this restoration has thrown in another challenge - the guy doing my chromework has 'misplaced' the bearing inspection caps which cover the roler bearings in the group.

Just wondering if anyone out there has spares - I would need 2 pairs of them (i.e. 2 group machine). Worse comes to worse I can remanufacture but would rather not go that way.

Alternatively, could anyone recommend anyone/anywhere?

Wow! Over a year since updating last.
Well formal update - I had the bearing inspection caps remanufactured by my contact in Italy. The group is now in being rechromed. Hopefully work will recommence shortly....
