The veloxtermo you found is missing its complete original thermoregularion system which has been replaced by a modern (PID?) thermostat mounted on the top of the group.

Many veloxtermo users think of this MOD as a late rescuscitation option for when the time has arrived the mercury/oil thermostat system has passed out.

It's the first time I see such a rescuscitated machine.

The "fake steam wand" is also missing apparently (note that this wand mostly distributes hot water).
