Faema Faemina 120 Volt Heating Element / Heater

Postby Zodiaco on Fri Aug 19, 2011 9:33 pm

Dear all,

I have a local manufacturer who can bend tubular heaters into any shape. I have him make me a working copy of the Faemina 120V 800W heater (the one that is usually broken). He charges 150USD. Anybody who is interested in having one of these heaters, pls contact me, if we are more, also the price might drop a tad.

Darius,

Thanks for that offer. And although it's off topic, I took a look at your amazing equipment list. Are you up to posting pictures of those beauties in some of the gallery threads?

Darius; Thank you. I would be interested in one. However, the machine I have has one that is 1000 watts.
There usually are two - a warming heating element marked 400 watts and the other main one at 1000watts to get the steam up. Is this true with yours as well? Anyway, I would be interested in getting one made.
thanks

Dear all,

I cannot but post a pic of this custom built Faemina heater, that Steve Becker from Convectronics built for me. The level of craftmanship is impeccable. I had it done at a rating of 900W, instead of 800W, to shorten the heating time and improve the steaming capabilities.

If anyone else needs this heater, or another custom built heater, don't hesitate to contact Steve Becker at:
sales@convectronics.com
Convectronics
111 Neck Road
Ward Hill Industrial Park
Haverhill, MA 01835
(978) 374-7714

I am not affiliated, I am just impressed by the high quality paired with a more than fair price.

Hi,

the two heaters are 200W and 800W. I had the 800W newly made, because this is the one that usually breaks (more than 90% of the cases). Contact Steve Becker at sales@convectronics.com and tell him that you got his address from me (Darius Schneider, La Jolla), he still has my original 800W element. I paid 195, because he had also to rebuild the mounting bushing and the gland nut, and because it was the first element. Good luck. Darius

Thanks Darius. I've gone ahead and sent an email to Steve for two of the 900w heaters.
I'll let you know how it goes.
Thanks dude!!
