Elektra Microcasa a Leva now WORKS!

Postby towners on Wed Sep 28, 2011 5:59 am

Hi All

Im a newbie here :-)

Im a coffee addict and have always wanted one of these type machines, unbelievably i manage to buy this at a local car boot sale (like a massive yard sale).

Image

The down side is the guy tried to fix it when no red light came on, he has unplugged all the wires under the base! I need a wiring diagram can anyone help?

Also all the machines i have seen have a bird on the top whereas mine has a blue ball? any ideas why this is?

Hoping you can help

You don't need that machine; it's just taking up counter space. Send it to me :)

If you post some pictures of the under side and/or switches, etc. I may be able to help with how to connect the wires. Once you understand how the machine functions, then the wiring will be easier to understand.

You've got the Murano glass ball. Was a different option.

A terrible price. Way too much - I'll double your money :D .

Welcome to the house. A working ornament for sure but would be a crying shame to not get this beauty going. Not hard to do at all and there are plenty of people here that will help you along the way.

Have a look here for the wiring. http://www.francescoceccarelli.eu/Macch...91_eng.htm

By the way...do you drink coffee?

Hi Paul,

if you're based anywhere near Brighton, we're having a meet-up here this weekend with a variety of machines, grinders and beans (including my own Elektra Microcasa a Leva). You're very welcome to come along.

Paul, 45! Based on the exterior photo image it looks like you came across a very good deal. Congrads on your new machine. Relatively simple "guts". Rewiring should be a straightforward process. Just enjoyed 2 of 3 pulls from the MCal of a SO Guat this morning.
