Elektra Microcasa 1984 Pressurestat Adjustment??

Postby DJR on Wed Jan 04, 2012 8:10 pm

If someone can advise me as to how to adjust this pressurestat, I'd greatly appreciate it. The machine as I got it is at about 1.7 bar.

So any advice as to what screw to turn, what direction and in what increments (half turn etc.) would be great. Specifically, I assume I have to turn the big nut that goes around the plunger pin that goes into that electric switch, right? Or is it a lock nut and I turn that little protrusion?

The machine was used as a display in Victoria Pastry in San Francisco.

Thanks,

Just a guess, I'd turn the nut counter clockwise.
If the nut compresses a spring that the pin pushes against, you'd want it to be looser.

Elektra Microcasa pressurestat problem?

remove the pressurestat and flush the Pstat pipe as well,
because of the positioning and curve of the pipe there is a good possibility that "sediment" will seat in the curve and still disturb the functioning of the Pstat

I'd check that out too...

That did the trick. I had to turn it about one turn to get it to .9. It took just 5 minutes. I'll try it tomorrow am.

By the way, my rubber base is not attached with a screw; it come off easily.

Thanks,
