Oh, man, just like my single group Mr Espresso. Hmm, and I could go pick it up. And convert it to propane. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Nobody buy it! Yet!

And so it begins!

(or continues, as the case may be...)

And as for PSAs like this, the only reason I considered it is because of the local pickup only option, the great buy-it-now price, and no bids.

Last thing I would want to do is start a bidding war on something that a member already had a line on.

It's a great example of a poor listing, the title is just too generic "Espresso Machine with extras", I would never have found this, I'm generally adding lever to my search criteria and he doesn't mention that anywhere.

But...it's a Mr. Espresso brand!
(I notice it's still there....)

Poor listings - my favorite kind. I once scored four programmable (ramp/soak) PID units which normally go for $300-$400 for $12.75 each because they were only listed by model number and it was missing a digit.

You could go to ebuyersedge.com and set up saved eBay searches so that you get an e-mail when a match is listed. you can't do that with Craigslist however, they have no API and will block your IP address.

You could go to searchtempest.com to search multiple Craigslist cities at once, but you cannot create saved searches.

Yeah I saw this one. no chance of driving that far to get it but I wanted to watch it to see what happens. It is a good deal. I love poorly listed items! I saw an extremely poorly listed cremina go for about $230 a couple months ago. I'm still kicking myself for letting that pass me by.

make an account at the Green Coffee Buying Club (GCBC) forum. They have a sub-forum like this that posts spotted deals all the time (craigslist, ebay etc...). I've seen some really nice equipment get picked up for very fair prices there.

cheers,

Ah... young blood... not too many deals get by folks here which is the reason there's no thread. (Or go to GCBC).
