Descale and back flush Olympia Cremina? - Page 2

Postby PKR on Tue Apr 05, 2011 3:12 pm

Is the idea of back flushing with a sponge that the cleaner only gets into the group head and not all the way into the boiler?
Do others recommend this for the Olympia Cremina Lever?
Thanks.

I couldn't locate the post you are referencing, but you never backflush a lever.

Backflush for a Lever??
Read it and see if it is for you.

Richard,

Just for clarification purposes, the method you describe is not "BACKflushing", but rather just subjecting cleaner from the bottom of the piston downward (essentially all parts that come into contact with the water/coffee). Perhaps it can be re-named FOREflushing?
