I suspect such temperature surfing might be a little more difficult (but not impossible) if you have a millenium edition EP that is thermostat regulated with no manometer...another nod to the pre milleniums Pav's.

Having tried quite a few temperature management tricks, I find myself happiest with the Europiccola when I consider it as a machine that provides one chance at one great shot, until cooled down naturally for another run.
