I recently picked up this portafilter on ebay as I have a two machines that are missing them so I grab them when I see them. This one though looks a bit different from the ones that I have seen on my other La Pavoni's, La Grazielle and I have/had about 11 of them.



The spout is square on the bottom.



Its deep, 1 1/8".
The handle is shorter at 2 7/8"
It fits my 73 Pavoni and the La Cara I am rebuilding.

I assume this was a pickup at an estate sale.

I was just wondering which machine it came out of?

So it's definitely for left-handed groups? Was it just listed as '49mm portafilter' on eBay?

It was listed as La Pavoni/Cara portafilter, it was a buy it now with the basket for 60 bucks so I didn't wait around to ask questions. The tabs look thicker and the groove at the top just a little taller than the pavonis. Yes it seems to be 49mm and fits most of my machines, the 73 is not liking it but the 74, the grazielle, the la cara, the 78, etc fits. 73 may just need a gasket adjustment. All my machines are in the 70's so I could be newer I suppose.
