I just now read this thread. One word: WOW!

I just sold a Bezzera, but now I await further details on the Strega with great anticipation. Bezzera is a company that has the talent and resources to create something great. Let us hope this is indeed great. :D

This Strega as of yet has no nega,
It has potential to be mega,
But alas, it might still stink,
If that group-head is bad heat sink!

The .pdf of the manual is at:http://www.baresta.com/res/bezzera_stre ... 4a_618.pdf

Not a lot of new information but some great pictures illustrating how to not hit yourself with the lever.

That's more along the lines of price I'd be willing to pay for this.

The imminent release of the Strega only complicates matters for me, I was torn between the Izzo Pompeii, Bezzera Ellisse Lever & Bezzera 2006AL - now I have to factor in the Strega and try to decide if there are significant disadvantages in the design of the Strega by comparison with the others.

The obvious advantages are size & cost.
