Bezzera Family driptray doesn't fit

hello,
i'm an Italian collector of lever machines, my work is selling antiques and some years I have accumulated a very nice collection, this afternoon I cleaned my Bezzera family, I removed the pan and once clean, I cannot to replace chrome iron which serves to hold it, anyone can help me, I was more than two hours without finding the solution. :cry:

Someone who owns one may help more, but the silver metal "U" shape looks upside down. Try turning it over and putting it on top of the drip tray grill where the cups sit.

All is ok now , the U must be placed on top of the machine :mrgreen:

Does your machine have a serial number plate or something similar on it anywhere?
I have the same machine (maybe a red cover where yours looks more orange) but cannot find anything on it to indicate age, type, serial number etc.
