I know there are a few people on this list who make singles on their Pavonis. The folks with the pre-Millennium machines all seem to be using the Elektra baskets for that.

I think some are also pulling good singles on the Millennium, and there are two very different single shot baskets for that - an older style that is a little hard to find (Espressoparts has it?), and a newer style (available at OE and Stefanos) that appears to be pod compatible. Which one works best?

On a related topic, I saw a europiccola millennium sell on eBay a week or so ago that came only with the old style single shot basket, and a very odd dispersion screen:


What is that?? Is it a singles-only one-off machine? Even for singles I can't imagine that being a good design. Maybe its a basket that someone put where the screen belongs? The machine was sold "as is", not guaranteed to function properly.
