by Chert on Sat Jul 30, 2011 5:18 pm Results of my single test confirmed what I think a few of you said. Locking the portafilter then lever down versus lever nearly down then locking in the portafilter produce the same volume shot from 17 grams of ground coffee.
I noticed no difference in the travel of the lever or the feel as it extracted the shots.
