The machine looks great! You must have really taken your time to restore it.

In an earlier post you said that it has good temperature stability. So, could you pull shot after shot on it for hours without it overheating? Just curious. I've never used a big lever machine - just my Gaggia Factory.

With some short brakes in between, it's no problem to use the machine for more than some shots in a row.

Hi Potato,
You did a great restoration of that machine, and those new legs really add a lot to the looks, too. You've got me thinking of raising my Gaggia up so I can clean under it easier. How long are those La Marzocco legs?

Hi Bill,

I don't know the exact length, but it's something around 10cm.

Hi Philipp,
Thanks, I could tell they were long. Have you had any problems using the machine with it raised that much? The legs on my Gaggia are only about 15 mm, the counter is 88 cm high and the height of the drip tray is approx. one meter. I don't know what the optimum height should be and that's one subject I don't recall being addressed in this forum. Any height-challanged baristas out there with an opinion?
