Arin

Postby rotchitos on Fri Dec 30, 2011 10:48 am

A Arin, lever machine as it should, years 70/80 and manufactured in Spain.
The "trunk" of the machine is empty and serves only to stability. Everything is in front of the group who also serves as a tank (40 cl) and is heating element, piston and spring.
I asked the seller to pack the machine because the sides are plastic and I could see some arin with a broken corner, which was a pity because it is once again an excellent pick, the machine seemed out of the store.

Nice work! I hadn't heard of an Arin before. It does indeed look a toy! Can you post some shots from it?

First shot missed, I spend the next ...

Second much better, not great light and perhaps a bit too waited before removing.

Beautiful, Vincent! I don't care if it makes mediocre shots, it is wonderful to look at!

How big is the portafilter? 45mm?

Thanks for the videos - especially the oops. All home levers are prone to tipping, so its good to be reminded once in a while. I hope you didn't get hurt.

LOL!

Thanks for the outtake, Vincent! It reminded me of my first La Pavoni!

:D

The good shot looks fairly nice. I hope you continue to improve your technique!
