Any 67 Olympia Cremina owners who bought a 2009?

Postby SwingT on Wed Jan 20, 2010 8:23 pm

So, who here that had a 67 model Cremina and has picked up one of the newest models?

It seems like someone here had a 67 and one of the 2009's on their counter, but I can't remember who. Searched on it, but didn't come up with it.

Anyone who's owned or pulled shots on them both want to make a few comments?

It's not something that is in my budget at the moment. But I've got a project that will complete next summer, and I'm thinking that might be an appropriate reward :D

Better temperature management? is that the main difference?

Maybe this is the thread you are talking about, I don't know why but each time I'm searching it I can't find it either, but this time I got lucky!.

that's the thread I was thinking about.

but didn't they make more changes in 2009?

I'm thinking the one that RobertBemis in the UK bought is different than the 2002?

There might be small change 2009 but if you check Olympia express website in the parts department the latest addition is the 2002 model, so I suspect that all part from then on are compatible.

KarlSchneider's machine is a 2002. I think you mean michaelbenis? He has the newer model. This was his thread: New Olympia Cremina 2008

I have the 2002 model, but my piston was damaged so I bought the new one from Olympia. I also eventually needed to replace the pressure gauge so went with the newer version of that as well. I haven't used a 67 model so I really can't compare, but those comparisons have been done in threads you mention.
