(1) Your older child (college age ) tells you he can't stand instant coffee nor un-fresh beans; then asks you for advice and equipment for brew (which I will gladly pay for). :D

(2) Your pre-teen child posts written sign above your home coffee work area stating "Do not bother the barista"

I like it so far! How about..

You have a 3ft tall bulk grinder next to your computer in the office.
I drink two shots before I drink two shots, then I drink two more....

1... Your young daughter doodles in your espresso log book (yes, I log every single shot along with key parameters and bean info), and you have to try your darndest not to lose your mind!
How Much Coffee Do You Waste When Switching Beans?

2... At work, you have a Pharos, Espro Press, Aeropress, digital scale, and PID Bonavita kettle, and dedicated beans just for your office coffee.

3...While lying in bed at night, you're already thinking about that magical espresso you're going to pull in the morning.

You commission 3D parts for an espresso machine that's been out of production for decades.

Or are excited when someone else has done that for you.

Between order and chaos there is espresso.

You compare tasting notes for the same coffee, with both Monoliths, with those of your six year old daughter.
