What's the story behind your login name? - Page 9

because I adore my 2008 Mini Cooper S

oh, and I generally don't like capitalization very much. I would use it less if doing so didn't cause confusion. "mini" has an appealing shape in all lower case... well at least to me, because I think about such things.

(that sounds bizarre, doesn't it?)

Story? OK!

I tend to view things in life in terms of OOP. Plain "me" was too general, anonymous, irrelevant to this forum. What I really wanted to use was
"me.hobbies.expensive.coffee.OCD.espresso.edu.community.edgy.ego_busting", but this was just too long while not being very comprehensive nor accurate. So, as a shorthand, I settled for coffee.me cuz it looked like an Internet domain name and demos a relationship.

That's just one story!

I wish there was an interesting story, but there isn't one really; coffee.me was what came to mind, using zero thinking, IIRC, when filling the reg form. Now, why it came to mind that fast is a different story  .

Been riding and racing bicycles since I was about 7, so over 30 years now. USCF is United States Cycling Federation; Roadie is road racing. Though I also race mountain bikes and do triathlons, the road is where my heart lies.

I'm sure it comes as no surprise, but Kaffidrikker is Norwegian for "coffee drinker"...
