What's a good DIY knock box?

Want to talk espresso but not sure which forum? If so, this is the right one.

I am wondering if there is a good DIY kit for a sturdy knock box? I am thinking of making one out of ABS pipe.
Roast it, Grind it, Brew it!.. Enjoy it!..

This is a great idea. I would make it deeper to hold more and make the bar deeper into the box to prevent grounds going on the counter top.

Take a plastic trash can, drill a ½ inch hole through either side and slide a ½ inch dowel rod through the hole and glue it in place. Instant knock box. That is what I use to use in my office.
