Vented coffee canister on sale

Want to talk espresso but not sure which forum? If so, this is the right one.

If this is inappropriate just delete this thread. Saw this on one of my deals pages.

It's a canister with a one way valve. Personally i use mason jars, but thought maybe someone might be interested.

For a while, I made jars with 1-way valves, but found no improvement.
The cupboard door keeps out enough light.

The valves are designed to keep mylar coffee bags from bursting. I doubt they add anything in terms of freshness to mason jars.
