Wow. CNN is kinda slow on the uptake. This site was covered by loads of major media outlets back when it first came out last winter. It's a keeper, 'cause so much of it is hilariously true.

My fave is #87, Outdoor Recreation Sportswear.

I don't think its funny if you are soliciting opinions. Particularly "unfunny" are some of the responses. This kind of material has no "added value" for me.

I agree the title is dumb, but if you look at it as a list of things that go with the number 1 item (coffee), it's more funny. That's the reason why I posted it here.

No, i don't like it. The site tries too hard. It's almost as if there is a banner somewhere saying "Yes we know it's not funny, but we say it's satire so you _have_ to find it funny because we say its satire. If you don't find this funny you are a humorless pitiful person.".
Sounds like extortion to me and i don't like being extorted. I like satire, but this is third-rate comedian "it's funny because it's true" horseshit.

"Stuff White People Like." I do think is a really funny website; but also mean-spirited, clever, (and profitable $$), exploitation of "White People's Masochism." Hard to resist.

One of the many things I like here is the international participation. Humor often doesn't cross cultures all that well. Might help to keep that in mind.

I realize this site was supposed to be tongue-in-cheek, but for me it was more like foot-in-mouth. Just didn't do it for me. I guess I'm too old to find the humor in pretending to be non-racist while pushing forth an agenda of mean-spiritedness with racial undertones.
