Like most things it will depend on the quality of the product you buy. I bought a package of the Zwipes

These high-quality microfiber cloths you guys use sound very good as well. Could not find any affordable Zwipes outside the US so far, though. 90 pounds on Amazon.co.uk? :|

Any alternatives you guys know of?

Microfiber used for car polishing are typically quite good, I have some from the McGuyars line of products that really are a lot better than the typical stuff you buy at grocery stores.

The costco in southern california carries (can't exactly remember) a 20 or 40 pack of microfiber towels for 20 bucks. Been using a few of those while pulling shots and rotating their wash cycle. The only downside is that it is bright yellow, which may be an upside for some :D
