Looks like a smiling ghost. Very cute.After all these years, I'm still completely hopeless with latte art and usually give up mid pour. My 'work' probably doesn't belong here as not much actual skill was involved but I never had a winky before and that's more art than I ever have ...lol.

I got my first set up on April 16th 2015.I had never made espresso before or frothed milk. Skill level was 0. To tell you how little I knew, it took me 3 pounds of coffee just to get my new grinder to dose 18 grams and get 36 to come out in 25-30s. I have completely taught myself technique using youtube videos and this forum. My very first pour was actually the best one I did for about 3 weeks. I only would make 2-3 drinks a day and never "practiced" but if you look back in this thread you can see a few of my most recent pours. It will seem really difficult at first but you will quickly learn what works.
