Unfortunately, I ran out of milk to completely finish the chop... but it still looks good, I'm proud of the position.. I'm sort of surprised I've made it this far being self trained.. then again it did take me 2 years or home-barista-ing.
I discovered that holding the cup in my palm makes it easier to get a good angle and position in the cup, especially for tulips.
That's so good man!! I've been at this for 7 years and make a couple hundred drinks a day and yours looks just as good as my attempts! Great job, you should be proud.
Recently just bought a Motta frothing pitcher after seeing many recommend it on this thread. I'm not very used to it yet, but these are some i've made with it. I'm fairly new to latte art and have no previous barista experience.
Poured my best tulip earlier today. My follow through was a little too heavy, and resulted in a slight slug trail instead of a nice thin chop. Even so, it was nice... too nice to resist, so I took a sip before taking a photo.
