Oh I have a Cafflano Klassic. I have made several brews with it, I only backed it on KS because it was clear they had already made it and were just getting pre-orders. For what it is, it is pretty good, sure if you look at its' standard ceramic grinder it is horribly aligned and wobbles visibly to the eye, but it does a job in a pretty little package. You could break down all the parts and say a Lido 2 beats it hands down, a V60 makes it easier etc...but that would not be the point. I think they did a good job for what it is.

Yeah, that and a thermos of hot water and you're all set to make in-flight coffee... looks good for anyone who needs to travel light.

I'm curious to know more about the Victoria Arduino Black Eagle, which is the official WBC machine. James Hoffman worked with Nuova Simonelli on its development. I assume it will be on display at SCAA.

A local coffee shop (http://swingscoffee.com/) has one in their Alexandria, VA location. Really beautiful machine!

I've always wondered with these, but never specifically asked; if you put a cup and zero it out, is there a function built in that will automatically start a count up timer once weight is detected? Like a hands off shot brewer timer? That would be cool.
