Andy Ciordia (pronounced See-Or-D-Ah), I'll be volunteering Friday/Espresso labs & Sunday/in depth cupping, otherwise I'll probably be taking some classes, hunting for familiar faces and like minded coffenauts. Since I have scheduling conflicts with the Espressofest I'm sending my business partner/friend Jeff Hoffman and my wife Robin as ambassadors hehe. And as a local feel free to pester with questions, I'll do my best to not get you lost (heheh!)

If you see me, don't be shy, come on over its a goal to meet as many people as I can. ;-)

Hello im Myron Wessinger. New kid on the block...(50 yr old kid) just purchased Quick Mill Vetrano and a Macap M4 grinder....Rosie and I have 2 kids, 4 dogs for a total of 6 kids. Unfortunately I havent had the time to set up the espresso machine. I was reading this forum before the purchase and read it daily to learn as much as possible. Looking forward to meeting those I have learned a lot from. My memory of espresso is basicaally from my Navy days visiting Naples and Taranto Italy, Barcelona Spain....in those countries espresso is consumed like we consume soft drinks. Sorry I dont have a photo, no scanner or digital camera...still old school about some things. Looking forward to meeting everyone.....Myron :)

I'm Blayne Olsen. I live in Monroe and work in Charlotte at the Levine Museum of the New South. I'm going to espressofest with a mission. My wife says I get a Brewtus for next Christmas. Now I need to learn all I can from Abe and try to find someone with a compelling reason to buy something different other than to save money. I'd post a picture but I have a low tolerance for learning anything that I will only use once in my life. I tried and failed but can email it to some kind soul if anyone wants to be nice to me and post it for me.

I haven't yet passed my first anniversary as a home barista but I'm fast making up for lost time. Attending SCAA 2006 is a leap in that direction. I've spent the past 11 months getting lost in an intense monogamous relationship with one grinder, one machine and one coffee. I'm looking to find new love interests on the Charlotte Conference Room Floor. I've a couple centerfold layouts of the GS3 and Synesso and would pinch myself to meet them. Also would like to perfume myself with a widening array of espresso blend. Its not that I wouldn't continue to give my most loving eye to my current gear, but you know, variety, it's a guy thing. See you all there. Tim Gartland

I am registered for my first SCAA conference. I hope I made the cut for the Espresso Fest. I had a blast at the last Espresso Fest in Durham. Looking forward to meeting old and new friends.
