I have a $500 dollar experiment setting in a kitchen cabinet; my first espresso machine. It didn't suit my desire for exceptional espresso but it sure is pretty and it does make espresso.bluesman wrote:That's how we learn! I try everything I can tolerate or afford - opinions without experience are like kissing through a screen door. But to be honest, I don't add salt to my beer.......or my coffee or my soup or much else.

The experiment proved to me that a quest for exceptional espresso was on my path. It took a long time before I stepped up to the plate and cut lose with enough Benjamins to make that happen. I'm happy.
