Thanks for all the great advice. We will be starting very small and probably investing quite a bit to start up - not trying to do this on the cheap at all.
Used machines and a large learning curve to start. Like any business it's a risk and that's all being figured out by our go-to social enterprise director who has a long history of business start-ups with success.
Sourcing beans is a big concern and we do want to get the best beans we can. I think relations with farmers come later and I hope to be able to do that if things work out.
We are only playing with numbers at this time but a couple of us are very serious about going through with the plan.
