Non-stovetop steaming device?

I have been having some success with my La Peppina, but I have been thinking about making some milk-based drinks. Are there any electric steam-only devices out there? My current setup would really be best suited to a steamer that I could plug in, rather than one that would need to be on a heat source. I figure that a small dedicated boiler just to steam should be possible, but perhaps such a machine would not be much in demand due to the fact that most machines do have some steaming capacity. Has anyone seen something like that, or is the closest option some kind of steam-toy espresso machine that I could use only for steaming? From what I read these options would not be very good for steaming anyways.
