New Tamping Mat

Want to talk espresso but not sure which forum? If so, this is the right one.

I am using a single spout portafilter, so tamping is challenging to say the least. Found this really nice one on eBay for $14, ordered it last week let me know what you think about it.

How much do you "tamper" with your coffee? Haha. Seriously though, it looks ok.

Enough that I cut my bottom out when it aggravated me. :shock:

Still, I pull the basket out, tamp, then reinsert before pulling a shot.

OP That mat looks as if less aggravation is in the near future.?
