New to espresso. I have been looking for a 1 day training course that covers espresso & other beverages. Have found a course in Tucson, AZ under http://www.all4coffee.com has anyone had any experience with this company? Or do you know of any 1 day courses that cover many beverages? Thanks!

Check if there are any Barista Guild classes available anywhere near you. The level 1 certification is usually a two day thing, but it will definitely get you started on the right foot.

This is the page on the linked web site that would reference said "training course": http://www.all4coffee.com/coffee-busine ... -c-94.html

No course is listed. The user has one post (total) that contains a properly formatted URL to a company's main page. I'm no Poirot, but this looks suspiciously like it could be cleverly disguised spam.

If it isn't, then I second Marshall's questions.

I am wary of first-time posters linking a website, but following the tests recommended in Beware of fraudulent online espresso equipment vendors, all4coffee passes. As the Internet Archive Wayback Machine shows, the site has been around for awhile. Below is a snapshot from 2002, with all the sophistication one expected of budding e-commerce sites:

If you follow the "consulting" link from that page, you'll see they're not new to advising others on running a coffee shop.
