Joe Glo Wipes

Postby Fr. John on Mon Jul 24, 2006 11:18 am

Has anyone tried these? I need something to clean and polish SS/Chrome that won't leave streaks. I was thinking about getting some of these with my $15 Tamper Roadshow credit (I will be getting a new tamper, one is not enough) order. Just wondering if they perform any better than Windex wipes or some of the SS/Chrome wipes I've seen at the store.

I've never tried those, but I'm getting excellent results with some microfiber cloth wipes I got at Walmart. The bundle of 8 was about $5 and I have only used 2 so far (the first one for about 3 weeks, and then it went into the laundry and I'm using a second one now).

I always have a rag or 2 in the area so what I do is use a normal rag (dishtowel or barmop, less than $1 each) to wet and wipe and then follow with the microfiber towel to finish. Doing this I am holding one in each hand so it's a very natural motion. I wipe clean and polish my machine after every session and including my brush and clearwater backflush it takes less than 2 minutes (last timed at 1m 38s).

The bonus is no chemicals or smell in my coffee area....

That is a great price for micro fibers. What section of the store did you find them?

That is a benefit of the Joe Glo wipes as well! What a coincidence.......

The wipes were also designed to reduce streaking on stainless steel. Especially the polished stuff.

As always Joe Glo products are engineered to be safe for the environment as well as your coffee ;-)

Terry,

I get down to Oly fairly often, and about a week ago, I finally found EPNW. I plan to stop in there next time I'm in town and will have to check out the Jo Glo wipes.
