I installed a water softener a few months ago European Gift C450 Water Softener 8 Liter

(http://products.unbeatablesale.com/euro ... 970476.php) and it seemed to be recharged in this period. But when I want to do it, I could not find a way to open the lid.
Could anyone share your experience with it and what the 3 steps shown on the surface of the softener means?
Please advice.
