Dave, that cup is awesome.
How much does it weigh?

152.4 grams, heavy for a 2oz demi. The perspective makes it look larger than it is; it is a tulip Nuova Point demi. I am almost embarrassed to say it took me a couple of days to figure out the logo. Obviously it is a grumpy face, but it is a coffee bean turned horizontal with a couple of eyes over the center slot. It is a heavy cup for its size and retains heat very well. I do not preheat the cup (other than the heat from the cup warmer) before the shot. Thick walls but not as elegant as my porcelain Elektra cups or Kens Raptmli cups but it makes a good daily drinker.

Do you have another cup you can place next to it for scale?
I'd love to see an ACF or an illy next to it just to get an idea...

Having recently been there, I don't think there are many who will read this who will find themselves in St. Uze by chance  I had that map but did not use it as it wasn't of any use. The town is postage stamp size and once you get on the outskirts you will see signs for the Revol factory store (in French), which are hard to miss. There isn't much available parking out front but I didn't have the impression that the few parking spots were highly sought after. The access to the town is actually well marked on the highway, the Route National 7 (N7), and although the autoroute (fast toll road) is actually closer than the (free but slow) N7, there are no exits north or south within about 15 or 20 km of St. Uze.

Here's my next Revol purchase if I can find it in Lyon today, the day before my departure from France back to the USA:

There are cheap Chinese made porcelain filter holders like this, but I've never seen a nice one before. At current exchange rates I'm sure it costs about 8x what it is worth, but it's worth a look if I can find one.

Ha, ha, I look at that cup every day. I never noticed that it's a bean!

It is a heat-retaining mother!

'Scuse me, but what cups do you prefer for cappuccinos? And why? My froth is getting consistently better, need some decent cups to present it in. Thanks.

I bought the 5oz Illy cups and love them. Nice and thick and hold the heat.

I like the black ACF 6 ounce cups, I got a couple from Great Infusions and have been very happy with them.

I second the 6 oz. cups from Great Infusions. Just slightly bigger than the Nuova Point cap cups, and I think the brown glazing and the white rim on the saucer is a little nicer too. While you're there, their 3 oz. cups are great for macchiatos and their 10 oz. latte cups are nice for making a latte that isn't ridiculously milky. Nice cups all around.
