Espressoparts international shipping

Postby welone on Fri May 09, 2008 3:11 am

Hello HB'ers

I just wanted to give a short info on espressoparts international shipping options. In short: besides the FedEx shipping options they are also willing to ship through USPS, which was way cheaper in my case (shipping to switzerland).

My order accounted for $90 (some brushes, a knockbox, a 10oz pitcher and a tamper) and shipping would have been $105 with FedEx.
So I gave them a call and asked if they would also ship via USPS - which I knew from ordering beans would certainly be cheaper than $100. 5 minutes later I got an email with with my modified order including the payment link and the USPS shipping costs: $49 !

a big 'thank you' to espressoparts for this really great and superfast service!!

marco

p.s. I hope this is about the right place to post this kind of info

Hey Walone,
this is great news. I wanted to order an HB tamper but didn't because shipping via FedEx would have cost about as much as the tamper. But now I think I will be ordering the tamper soon since the Euro developed so nicely  .
Grüße aus dem Nachbarland,

I'm glad to hear that you guys had the option to get USPS shipping on your orders - I don't know why this isn't an option on the website. It's particularly galling when I live in Canada (right next door) to see that the shipping will cost over $60 on an item that costs $30.
