Espresso thermo to go...

Postby rodie1 on Fri Mar 16, 2007 4:57 am

Although drinking the espresso can be a quicky I prefer to sit down for it in stead of doing it the Italian style (take the cup, slam it and walk out again). Another thing is that drinking a good espresso at home makes you spoiled making it hard to find an acceptable substitute while being on the road.

Combining these two I'm looking for a way to make my espresso "to go", even with bearing in mind that it won't do any good to the quality but it's still better than the alternative (if any of you ever visited places along the Dutch highways you would agree).

So I'm looking for a thermocup for on the road. There are lot's of them but I never found one small enough to host an espresso without 90% of cold air in it. Does anybody have any suggestions for this?

Preheat your thermos with hot water before putting espresso in it? That would get rid of the cold air/cold thermos problem.

I doubt there is a big market for 3 oz. thermos'.
