Well, the good news was that they were happy to refund my money, and told me to spread the beans around to my friends. I really wouldn't have made a deal about it except that I was pretty clear that the whole reason that I was getting the beans was for the weekend, and was assured that they'd be there in time.

Heh, if my sister calls and suggests that my nephew is screwin' around, I may PM ya to go tell him that his Unk is watching him and sent you to tell him to stop screwin' around. Other than that, the rest of the fam has my Boise connection covered outta Nampa.
But thanks!

Completely off thread, but the guys at the Nampa model aircraft club have been great, and have always made me feel at home even though I am just visiting the field.

Yup, those are nice folk they grow up there alright.
Stop in at Flying M next time you're there. Great espresso.

Reviving a very dead thread here but in case anyone's looking for good coffee on the peninsula, Blue Bottle has some sort of arrangement with the recently opened Burlingame Produce in downtown Burlingame and is now serving the full gamut there!

I've been by a few times already and gotten the best shot I've had between the city and San Jose, plus picked up some good organic vegetables to boot. Thank g-d, finally, someplace I can bicycle to (in less than 2 hours each way)...
