The Arist saga continues. Apparently Benson Chiu resigned from Arist in October, citing "illusion", "deception", and "lies".

I wonder if companies like Death Wish and others like it will ever fizzle out? They've just been one-up'd by a newer brand that stakes their entire business plan (admittedly successful) on pedaling the "strongest coffee" schtick. From Super Bowl ads to headlines on CNN, they're getting a lot of recognition, but I imagine most of their business is either novelty or one time only customers.

Wonder how much energy is from caffeine vs how much energy is from all the sugar you have to put in to make it palatable

I'm in the middle of developing a special high-temperature, high-pressure vessel that can force more caffeine into a supersaturated/supersolute state that normal liquids can't accomplish! We are combining this with supersolid/superfluid matter states to create impossibly dense granules of caffeine using ultracold (Near 0k) gasses. Sometimes the cat is dead and sometimes it is really jumpy so I think we're onto something here.TomC wrote:I wonder if companies like Death Wish and others like it will ever fizzle out? International Delight One Touch Latte
Nothing like sourcing bird friendly, organic, non-GMO beans, carefully picking and processing them, carefully roasting them, brewing a delicious espresso, then adding some industrial, artificially flavored crap to the cup, and having the joy of adding one more can to a landfill. When the Canadians build the border wall to keep us out we probably won't be able to import it anyway.

The propellant is about the least objectionable ingredient. Be better off injecting your espresso with nitrous...
