Sous-vide coffee, as in manually brewed in a Ziploc bag. (A serious attempt.) No declining temperature profile!

It looks like they went through an awful lot of hassle with those ziploc baggies to do essentially the equivalent of putting the sous vide immersion heater in a French press.

Well, you wouldn't want the grounds re-circulating through the immersion heater. That would lead to over-extraction!

If this was a 'thing,' - and it was clearly done tongue-in-cheek, then using canning jars would make things easier/neater.

Pre-heated Espro presses insulate so d*mn well that it should give a similar type of cup - and I presume that was the method that they were referring to as rhyming with "Pharaoh chess."

Hmm. Maybe I'll make an Espro press tomorrow morning instead of (I expect yet again) struggling to get something good out of my new Syphon.

From the comments later in the thread, Baratza apparently willing to exchange for refurb. If true, that is customer service!

Like these "walk around" interior features in store fronts. Similar to google street view. Below is an example from I.D.C.

Click on looped arrow marker which allows for a 360 view. Cool stuff.

Nice. From what I can tell, that's a fairly recent capture by Google. Although I haven't been to IDC in a few months.
