I am glad lever machine groups are pretty clean, but it's crazy I did not have to change my shirt.
[EDIT: with my simple cellular, an image of the setup - dirty - that sprayed me with steam and droplets.
]
This picture is my shirt this afternoon after my premillenium Pavoni sprayed hot steam and water on it when I did a quick warm up / cleaning flush. The spouted portafilter handle was in place with no basket, I was seated right in front of it. The drops which covered it dried quickly with no coffee left behind.

With alt.coffee destroyed from within, the termites had to go somewhere.. That thread is certainly a reminder that those who do not learn from history are doomed top repeat it.

It is worth a perusal as there are pearls of wisdom from the seller, such as, "..the my last La Marzocco GS1 that I had that was in super poor condition in comparison, had 4 people increasing what they would pay for it and they finally stopped there in person price jacking at $32,000.00 . So was the machine worth it? To the buyer it is worth what ever they are willing to pay for the rarest of the rare high end machines.. "

The asking price for that vintage GS1 isn't relevant, anyone can attempt to sell anything for whatever they think they can get. The thread itself though is another story.

What that thread makes me grateful for are the human decency standards of online interaction set by Dan and the moderators on this forum.

This may have been covered before, but I put an inquiry into Veloce for their insane F1 pod machine. Starting price is around $10k... for a nespresso pod machine.
