The craziest %#*$ing thing I've seen all day... - Page 12

Here's an amusing article on how some cafes are attempting to improve sales by having scantily clad female baristas. Kind of like Starbucks meets Hooters.

Cheers,
Ken

P.S. Apologies to the real professional baristas who frequent this site (who may soon be replaced by a scantily clad 22 year old named Brandi).
If not for coffee, I'd have no personality at all.

To save everyone the trouble of searching, here's a direct link to satisfy your curiosity: Cowgirls Espresso. For what it's worth, there was a similar gimmick for donut shops and car washes years back in Florida. To the best of my knowledge, they did not last.

Betty Crocker has been in the espresso maker (steam toy) business.

The widely circulated portrait reinforced the popular belief that Betty Crocker was a real woman. One public opinion poll rated her as the second most famous woman in America after Eleanor Roosevelt.

Juan's AZTEC CHALLENGE
A most dangerous experiment. Ristretto, Winegums, Coke, and Spears

theres 5:54 of your life you cant get back.

what is wrong with this guy? he loves the smell of gasoline and tar? i love his reaction when he drinks the shot of espresso. you can tell how delicious it is just by the look on his face. he seems so into the origins of the coffee as he piles the sugar in.

cannonfodder wrote:It is not coffee related, but it is absolutely freaking awesome! Imagine a retired Swiss Air Force fighter pilot spending his post military life creating a strap on your back airfoil with folding wings to jump out of an airplane with and glide like a bird. Then in true man style, add 4 small jet turbines to the wing and fly at 300Kph. You have to play the video imbedded in the page, I'd give up my espresso machine for one of those!

I once had a dream, and in that dream, I had one of those as my primary means of transportation. (yes, I'm a lucid dreamer)

It was surreal, and simply put, amazing. I wondered why everyone didn't have one, and it was a VERY new experience in the dream. It wasn't a situation where I was already used to such equipment the moment I put it on. It was new, and it took getting used to, and learning to pilot the thing.

I wonder if my dream experiences are at all similar to the real deal. I had no clue it even really existed.

Friggin sweet.

Gone, the peyote. Where now, the psilocybin?
