A "clean" way to route espresso water inlet through kitchen sink?

Want to talk espresso but not sure which forum? If so, this is the right one.

I'm moving to a fancy apartment with a new kitchen, and the idea of a blank hole with a braided 3/8" line running from under the kitchen sink to my espresso machine on the countertop just isn't... ideal.

So, I'm looking for a trim piece, or plumbing fitting, or flange, or whatever-you-call-it, to cover the exposed 1.5" kitchen sink hole -- ideally providing a waterproof fit (so that water splashed around the kitchen sink doesn't have the potential to go under the sink and into the cabinetry).

In the past, I've repurposed a dishwasher air gap fitting, drilling out the internals and making the hole in the cap large enough to fit the 3/8" line through it. But this is a bit of a clunky install, in my opinion. Was wondering if anyone has struggled with similar issues and has a better solution?

Maybe a cable pass thru grommet. As used on desks and computer furniture. A thin bead of clear silicone will keep water from going under it
