Just picked up a Fetco CBS-2052E and HWB-10 for 600 bucks. Used one year, just needs a little cleaning.

Got a Jericho J-500 off Craigslist for $140. Been interested in the ghost tooth style burrs for a bit, so figured why not pick it up.

The evenness of the grind at French press and coarser is insane.

A Goodwill find, probably collectible. This is a Bialetti Moka Express porcelain demitasse set consisting of four cups, three saucers and a trivet that serves as a saucer. Since I enjoy my moka pot coffee, it's something I'll use. I especially like the family history and product line specs. It looks like a promotional set, so I wonder if it was given to dealers or distributors.

Here's the whole grouping.

The saucers and trivet.

The Renato Bialetti cartoon cup.
Image
The matching saucer.
Image
A housewife portrait cup.
Image
On the side of the housewife cup, there's promotional language.
Image
It has a trivet instead of a saucer -- glad I kept looking at other shelves!
Image
A portrait cup of Alfonso Bialetti, the family patriarch. Il nonno means "grandpa"!
Image
The decoration is transferred from other promotional artwork and pushes the limits of resolution. I'm sure it was a manager's order to a worker. Okay, as you asked ...
Image
And the matching saucer.
Image
This cup has more promotional puffery. It's different on each side.

The matching saucer has product line info.Image
The bottoms are all marked as Bialetti porcelain.
Image
And the grand total ... :D

It's only a deal because of the .80 senior discount.

I picked up a Mini Moka Lever (AKA Mini Gaggia Lever) through a lucky CL find for $80

Image

The machine looks like it was barely used.

I posted more pictures here in this thread.

I also see that you paid cash - no credit card - so the sale could not be traced since it was such a 'steal'!

Enjoy your purchase!

I got a "used" Mahlkonig K30 for $1050. It had only 175 shots on it and goes without saying it's condition was "virtually new." I wouldn't be surprised the factory was responsible for 100 of those shots. It's not bad of a grinder for home use. :P
