Which Klatch Green for SO Espresso? - Page 2

Postby ckroaster on Wed Jan 27, 2010 9:13 pm

Hi all. Our new site has much more green so please check it out. Your advice to each other is pretty right on. Brazil and Sumatra used by many. The Amaro is great and we have been experimenting after hearing from customers how good it was as an SO. Costa Rican coffee has been used by a couple world champions. And the Las Mercedes was used by Big Daddy of PT's to finish 2nd at the midwest barista championships. The wondo has been gone a while but was good while it lasted. The Amaro would be a wonderful replacement.

Our new site is up http://www.klatchroasting.com and for the first month we are offering home barista members 10% off all orders with code homebar

On our new site we also have extraction instructions for our espresso blends and will add SO extraction blends when Heather returns from a training and consulting job in Japan. In the meantime the rest of us are having fun.

I recently bought some roasted Amaro Gayo, and it is fantastic as drip (Clever Dripper... Hey Mike, why not start carrying these at the shops?). What amazes me is I got it last Saturday, and it's continuing to get better with berry flavors quite pronounced. Haven't had the chance to pull some shots with it yet, but I'm guessing it's just about ready for that now. Hmm, if the machine at work didn't suck as bad as it does. Maybe wrapping up the day working from home is in order.

On a different but related note, Mike, the new website looks great!
