hey everyone.
quick question: who here tilts their popper when roasting coffee? people say that it is a technique for improving airflow, but i'm not sure i'm convinced. When I do it, I can clearly see beans that sit on the "low side" of the roasting chamber and don't move for quite some time. I also notice some tipping in my roasts and wonder if this might be the reason.
What is everyone's opinion of tilting their popper when roasting?
