Talking to a local roaster.

Postby CRCasey on Tue Dec 29, 2009 12:24 am

I have said this before, but I am not a roaster, home or otherwise.

But I want to go and talk with a local roaster that runs a shop.

I really do not want to sound like an a**hole that is advising him, but I want to know enough to speak the same language. Where should I start?

You can read up on the latest topics in the roaster's guild forums. You might be able to find some things there that you could chat with him about.
