Anyone interested in splitting a case of PBi Biotre biodegradable, 12-16oz block-bottom bags? The stock number is 310-BIO400; they're 500 bags to a case, and the price works out to around 0.55/bag.

I'd prefer to split with two others, but one -- tried, true and pure of heart -- is workable.

Mark! Dude!

Tomorrow, whether we have another guy or not, I'll call PBi, pull the trigger and let you know the details by PM.

FYI, the model number for Eco Friendly Avery 3.33" x 4" labels is 48464. Avery4less.com has them, but Amazon has them 4 less.

For simplicity sake, I'm going to leave this thread stand here where it already is established, but for future reference, something like this belongs in the Buy/Sell Forum. Splitting bags is no different than splitting green coffee.

Just curious, how does one go about closing such a bag?

You need a heat sealer like this one: http://www.pacificbag.com/index.php/sto ... /equipment

Heat sealer, yes. As ritzy as the one linked, no. You can buy an 8", hand, impulse sealer from Amazon for around $30.

They're all made in Asia by unborn, female political prisoners with unusual but sincere sectarian leanings. I used to have a conscience until Jeff Bezos pioneered free delivery.

If you reserve your cheap sealer for roasting, you should get at least a hundred bags before needing to replace the elements and tape (2 minutes and 5 bucks ish), and at least 500 bags before shuffling off its mortal coil and ordering a new one.
