Here's my youtubes

I have modified poplite. I use a 4 amp stinger vac, placed in the shed for quietness, and run hose out to popper. When I had glass chimney, I tested it and it could blow around 1.5 lbs of greens without issue. That was the most I could fit in the machine, so not sure how much it could actually do. The heater can't keep up with that much greens though, I charge to 250 grams, which is the most I can roast in the winter and still hit my times. But that's good quantity for me, I do two different coffees a week and usually blend them.

The control panel has a dismantled harbor freight speed controller for the fan and JLD 7100 PID for heater. I have arduino I was going to put in for datalogging, but I couldn't fit everything in the box after accounting for all the wires and fuses and blah blah. Right now its too hot to be working on it (gonna be 111f today, ugh), but when fall comes I will rework it to get the data logging going.

As is,

Popper - $20
Speed controller - $20
PID and related - $60
Shop Vac - $30
Thermometer - $10
Electrical Box - $8
Arudino and related $40
Easter Bunny Chimney $0.99

So around $190 for 1/2 lb roaster with data logging. I decided not go with arduino control because more expensive and I didn't want automated control anyway.

Disagree. The correct # of bikes to own is s - 1, where s is the number that would cause your significant other to leave you.

Thanks Steve!!! Not soon enough. Wait is killing me. It's estimated to arrive in the next week or 2 at MCR... Hopefully it does!

Looks like your 66 is even better than originally advertised. Exciting stuff Doc
